Course Description:
'' natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears and their referral areas within zone related areas, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes, the feet being the primary site of application, Reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body.
This two-day workshop will allow the therapist to incorporate Reflexology into their existing practice thereby aiding in their patient’s overall wellbeing.
We will explore the history of Reflexology and how the map of the body became apparent on the foot. The student will learn specific techniques to “work�these points and learn a routine to get them started. We will discuss the benefits and review any safety concerns regarding offering Reflexology, basically the do’s and don’ts. We will look at how to use Reflexology to assist in specific conditions. ...''
