The Apostle Islands are known for pristine shoreline and old-growth white pine, birch and maples, wilderness camping, and wildlife. Take a glance down the shoreline and you will see one of many lighthouses that still stand against Superior’s wicked winter storms.
For Kayakers, this is a dream come true. The Apostles offer endless views of pristine beaches and glacial ice and wave-carved sea caves, as well as numerous sandstone cliffs towering above the clear waters. There’s also the chance of getting a glimpse of the northern lights in late summer. Come enjoy these wonders of our Lord and one will leave a true nature lover.
