Course Description:
'' If you’ve never kayaked before or have limited experience, this is the course for you. The curriculum begins with our specialized "Dry Land SchoolĄ±, in which we focus on the basics. This includes; equipment identification and use, paddle strokes, safety, and hazards. The course then moves to our private lake where you will spend several hours learning how to maneuver and master several paddle strokes:
• Forward power stroke
• Reverse power stroke
• Forward sweep
• Reverse sweep
• Skulls
• Draws
• J Leans
• Hip Snaps
• Low Brace
• High Brace
Excellent and personalized kayaking instruction makes for a quality learning experience.
Time: 10 AM and 2 Pm Year Round
Place: Wintergreen Resort, Lake Monocan Boars Head Inn, Walnut Creek Park
Age: 12 and Older
