'' There have now been five highly successful production management study tours to Japan, organised by the Manufacturing Roundtable at the GSB in conjunction with the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) in Japan. The next tour will be from 7th - 18th of March 2005.

Production managers and their key staff; 25 ¨C 60 years old


Programme objectives

To enhance capabilities in production management
To upgrade knowledge and skills in the daily practice of production management systems
To deepen understanding of (a) how to deploy policies and control activities in order to achieve manufacturing innovation, and (b) identify problem areas in production systems and develop managerial capability to cope with these problems
To establish programmes designed to create new production systems to improve quality and productivity

Key programme components
This study tour lasts for two weeks, and is based at the Association of Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) in Nagoya, Japan. Numbers are severely restricted and early enquiry is recommended.
