'' Convoy/DM is a tool designed to generate the applications required for data transformation, validation, and migration into PeopleSoft. Gain hands-on experience migrating data from source systems to target systems using the latest version of Convoy/DM. Learn to manage your own data migration projects by generating program code, customizing the generated code and troubleshooting the data migration from application to application in the enterprise.
Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Understand how to use Convoy/DM to generate code to transform, validate and migrate data
Master the use of Simple and Normal Interface Wizards
Import data to the Convoy/DM Data Dictionary
Create and use User-Defined Functions in an Interface

Overview of Convoy/DM features, configuring Convoy/DM, importing metadata into the Convoy/DM data dictionary, building interfaces using the simple and normal interface wizards, using the interface manager, understanding how to use the interface mapper and creating maps, using the expression editor, transform, and merge programs, creating and using user-defined functions, customizing generated code, and generating, executing, and troubleshooting program code.
