'' Gain an overview of Sybase Replication Agent including the major Replication Agent components and how they work. Learn the initial setup and configuration procedures, administrative operations including managing Replication Agent instances, and using the Replication Agent administration port to perform a variety of routine administrative tasks. Examine basic troubleshooting and system recovery procedures for Sybase Replication Agent and the replication system.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Understand Sybase Replication Agent architecture
Start and manage Replication Agent instance(s) using the ra and ra_admin command line utilities
Setup Replication Agent connectivity
Mark objects to be replicated in the primary database
Start replication
Use Replication Agent test scripts
Understand Replication Agent administration
Perform routine administrative tasks using the ra_ra_admin command line utilities and/or the Administrator GUI utility
