'' Examine object-oriented application development concepts and object-oriented programming techniques in the PowerBuilder 8.0 IDE that maximize reuse ¨C both in your current applications and in future development projects. Learn how to implement inheritance, polymorphism, generic object messaging, and encapsulation. Study how PowerBuilder works internally with object instantiation, source code, and memory pools. Create reusable business rules that are utilized by a variety of distributed (n-tier) and Web clients.
Course Objectives :
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
Use Object-Oriented construction techniques to help design and code PowerBuilder applications
Implement Non-Visual User Objects
Put inheritance, polymorphism, generic object messaging, exception handling and encapsulation into practice
Create components for distributed n-Tier computing and communication with Web targets
