'' This hands-on course is for experienced PowerBuilder developers who want to utilize & understand the new features added to PowerBuilder 10 for client/server, component, web client and web service development. Learn to use the new features of PowerBuilder 10 to migrate an existing PowerBuilder Power Script-based application from a previous version of PowerBuilder. Use an EAServer utility program to migrate a PowerDynamo web site into a JSP web site. Create and deploy a PowerBuilder non-visual object (NVO) from within the PowerBuilder IDE into EAServer and expose it as a Web Service, as well as build your own UDDI browser. Create, configure and deploy an XML DataWindow as part of a JSP target application. Using reverse engineering techniques, you will reverse engineer an existing PowerBuilder application into a PowerDesigner Object Model, make changes to the model and regenerate and you¡¯re your PowerBuilder Objects. Using the internationalization features of PowerBuilder 10, you will use Unicode characters to internationalize a GUI. Lastly, to facilitate handicapped users you will transform a non-508c accessible window and DataWindow to a 508c compliant application window. Many of these significant new features are reinforced in practical lab exercises.
