Course Description:

'' Learn how to use existing components such as Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs) to build robust, secure, and scalable Web services to be hosted and deployed by Enterprise Application Server (EAServer). Examine the use of the EAServer Web Services Toolkit, which simplifies and accelerates Web services deployment and integrates existing systems I a platform and language-neutral way. WSDL is used to describe the service and publish service information to a UDDI registry site to make their Web services available to others on the Internet while accessing other Web services with SOAP as the XML-based transport. SOAL, UDDI, XML and WDSL are all exploited by the Web Services Toolkit and further accelerate Web services in allowing remote clients easy access to EAServer-hosted components.

Create a Web Service from an existing component on EAServer
Create a WDSL document using Web Services Toolkit
Publish to a UDDI site using Web Services Toolkit
Create a SOAP document using Web Services Toolkit
