Course Description:

'' Gain familiarity with EDI Server (not including Gateway) or Adapter Suite, and map "to and from" ANSI X12 transactions utilizing sequential files and databases. Create a flat file to flat file map allowing you to address different proprietary application to the format of a different proprietary application. Learn to navigate EDI Server and Adapter Suite by mapping a sequential file to an X12 850 (purchase order) transaction. Examine the concepts of handling back to back like segments and loops by mapping an X12 810 (invoice) transaction to a sequential file. Select data from a database and create an X12 850 transaction and acquire an introduction to the Select and Fetch capabilities available in EDI Server and Adapter Suite.
