Sybase has responded to this trend by certifying and supporting its products on Linux, including Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise. This training course will show you how to assess an existing Unix or Windows NT ASE environment and migrate your production level ASE databases to a Linux environment. You will learn to prepare your Linux environment for your ASE installation and configuration, so as to properly and safely migrate your existing data to a Linux hosted Adaptive Server Enterprise database. You will then learn the management, performance enhancement and monitoring tools available to you on Linux.
