'' Gain an introduction to the new Sybase utility, SQL Expert. Focus is on core features of SQL Expert including: Database Explorer, SQL Editor, SQL Formatter, Syntactical SQL Optimizer and SQL Comparer. These features along with the SQL Monitor and the SQL Scanner make up the SQL Expert utility. Learn to use SQL Expert to enter code, benchmark performance and compare source SQL code with the alternative SQL code generated by the Syntactical Optimizer feature of SQL Expert. The Syntactical Optimizer uses an AI based feedback engine to automatically rewrite source SQL code in as many semantically equivalent ways as possible. Acquire the knowledge necessary to use this new utility to improve your query performance.
