'' Get an introduction to Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and particularly the Enterprise JavaBean (EJB) portion of that specification. EJBs allow sophisticated transaction management and integration with legacy systems to solve business problems. Study the advantages of EJB components and learn how to implement EJBs. Practice all of the topics covered by building an application from design through deployment. Experience shows that the EJB concepts are learned best by hands-on development in a mentored environment. Many students, including experienced EJB developers, find that learning EJBs in a short period of time is quite challenging because of their fairy complex architecture and the number of interfaces and APIs that have to be understood in order to comprehend the EJB code. The structure of this course is appropriate for teaching this complex material, and it is modular so that it can be reorganized on the fly to accommodate different class requirements.
