Kursziele

This five-day course covers the operational basics and concepts of the OpenView Operations (OVO) product including the JavaTM console, message sources and log files, threshold monitors, the message interceptor and administration and configuration of the product. The course is five days in duration, 60% lecture 40% lab.
After completing this course the student should be able to:
Use the OVO operator interface
Use the OVO administrator interface
Use the OVO Java console
Configure users and profiles
Configure message templates and conditions
Identify the key OVO utilities
Troubleshoot OVO and isolate problems at the rudimentary level
