Course Description:

'' This one-day course is designed to further increase report design skills by concentrating on advanced topics. The course covers Crystal architecture, report design and Structured Query Language, advanced formula creation such as arrays and custom functions, subreports, and a hands-on report design workshop. In the Report Design Workshop, you will build upon topics you¡¯ve learned throughout the Report Design courses. Each activity in the workshop presents a different business scenario in which to apply your report design skills. The reports you develop in this workshop can also be used as a guide for your own reporting needs.

Who should attend?
Learners who want to further develop their intermediate report design skills using Crystal Reports 9.

Prerequisites
Learners must have taken Report Design I and II courses or have a minimum of six months of report design experience with Crystal Reports and understand advanced report design concepts such as formulas, parameters, sections, crosstabs, and exporting. Relational database knowledge is recommended. The prerequisite assignment for this course is to complete the Report Design III Prerequisite Exercise available on the Business Objects web site or from your sales representative.
