Benefits:
Premiere is a widely used, user-friendly digital video editing package. This introductory course will demonstrate all of the primary functions of Premiere. It is intensive and delegates are encouraged to be creative. On completing the course delegates will be able to develop their skills from a solid foundation of basic knowledge. The training sessions will be project-based working from digitising audio-visual material, to editing, and outputting material for inclusion within multimedia. You will develop an understanding of both digital and analogue video editing, which can then be used to progress to higher end audio-visual editing packages such as Avid.

Anyone who wants to learn the principles of digital video editing for CD-ROM, Internet productions that incorporate video, or for off-line editing for broadcast production.

Video processing in Premiere for image effects and manipulation.
Compositing image and text.
Creating flying logos and sprites.
Layering of sound and video.
Overlaying using mattes and alpha channels.
Image transformations over time.
Output of digital video into a multimedia environment using compression.
Combining 2D and 3D computer animation with video.
Exporting filmstrips to Photoshop for processing.
Adding and editing sound in Premiere.
Optimising performance within multimedia
