COURSE CONTENT
If project management is the art of managing within constraints, portfolio management is the management of those constraints. Choices made on resourcing, sequencing and priority radically affect project throughput and project success. This course provides practical techniques for clearly assessing the desirability of the portfolio and for managing its ’do ability’. It provides an in-depth understanding of how to maintain a ¡®balanced¡¯ portfolio, how to structure and track projects within a portfolio, and ways to allocate scarce resources.
