It is vital that your web site is not only attractive and simple to use but free from any errors. No matter how aesthetically pleasing your site, if it is not usable, reliable and available it will fail. The web brings new challenges, testing must change to face them. This one-day course will give an introduction to the web and the testing issues it raises. It looks at the static and dynamic techniques of functional testing as well as highlighting the impact on legacy systems. This course can be stand alone or added to the Non-Functional issues course to make a two-day package.

To establish what the web is and why it has an impact on testing
To cover the key points in testing a web site that is intended for e-business use
To enable the tester to produce a test plan that is based on risk reduction
To identify all of the key support activities to facilitate the testing
