'' When you outsource, you often need to share data, technology, procedures and other materials. However, without successfully sharing knowledge, knowhow, best practice and lessons learnt, the costs that are saved by outsourcing can be soon overcome by the costs of poor practice and repeated mistakes. In some organisations, knowledge is not shared well in open plan offices where people sit and work close to each other. How can they possibly share their know-how well with people on the other side of the world, in a different time zone and often speaking a different language?

This workshop is aimed at those who are or will be involved in outsourcing (not only those with a knowledge management job function) and need to make sure the right knowledge is shared and secure critical knowledge is kept within the organisation.
