'' Organisational leaders need to understand the valuable contribution that professional project management can bring to their business successes. The careful selection of new projects in the company portfolio is a must and tight monitoring of the delivery of the portfolio is of paramount importance.
Organisational Project Management Maturity is the systematic management of projects, programs and portfolios in alignment with the achievement of strategic goals.
Objective The objective of this course is to give an overview of PMI¡¯s Organisational Project Management Maturity Model(OPM3™). This model helps organisations to develop and apply project management principles at an organisational level. The course addresses the link with strategic planning, identifies best practices and required capabilities at each level of maturity, and describes the tree structure Portfolio ¨CProgram¨C Project. There is a strong link with the best practices as described in the PMBOK®.
Practical examples accompany the theory, to optimize the knowledge acquisition of the participant¡¯s closing projects.
