'' This course will help you improve your management and appraisal of staff performance. As a result, you will be able to:

• Agree SMART goals and Action Plans with your staff
• Identify and prioritise staff training needs
• Apply motivational techniques to inspire staff
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and coaching sessions
• Conduct effective performance reviews
• Resolve difficult performance issues
• Develop Action Items for improved performance management and appraisal

This workshop will benefit anyone who needs to manage staff performance and conduct performance appraisals. About 30% of the workshop time is devoted to
instruction and examples. 70% of the time is spent on group activities, exercises, case studies and simulations. These activities are designed to give you practice and build your confidence in managing staff performance and conducting performance reviews.
