'' This is a Certificate IV qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and is recognised throughout Australia for employment in NEAS accredited schools as the minimum qualification.

In Australia, Asia and South America the Certificate IV in TESOL has equal recognition as the CELTA.

Applicants with the Phoenix Step Into Teaching TESOL Certificate - Level 1 only need to complete four further weeks of intensive study in the Certificate IV course to achieve this additional qualification.

The Certificate IV in TESOL is also recognised by many Australian universities for advanced standing in Bachelor and Master of Education qualifications.

Entry Requirements: 19 years of age and IELTS 5.5 or Upper Intermediate English level
