'' Stategic planning is fundamental to any business and within that, each operational department must develop a support plan in order to deliver the focused corporate target.
Strategic planning falls into 3 interrelated categories:
* Long-term company aims
* Medium term management plans
* Shorter term operational performance targets and deliverables
The workshop is designed to give an overview of the former but then concentrates on managing and delivering the ’supply chain’ medium and shorter term strategic targets. The processes of system review and project mapping to set and achieve term targets are introduced to the delegates.
The development of ’Supply Chain’ strategic plans with team ownership and commitment is a strong motivator. The teamwork sessions introduce the building process of strategic plans and then the subsequent management of the elements within an ever changing operational environment. This demands a positive level of team working skill and a subsequent management time investment to ensure that the chosen objectives are achieved. Programme Outline
