Aikido is a Martial Art from Japan and means the way of harmony with the principle and force of nature." Learn the basic fundamentals of body movement, technique and the philosophy of Aikido. Most practice is done with a partner; each works at his or her level of ability, alternating as uke (the attacker) and nage (the one who receives the attack). Both roles are stressed; each contributes skills that enhance overall sensitivity and control.
