'' This module will challenge students to explore and move deeper into the
creative aspects of lighting, composition, movement and scene blocking
while building their confidence with the camera as a tool for
expression. The class also covers technical components of digital
cinematography, presenting the use and application of customized
scene-file settings, time code formats and new options in
high-definition acquisition. Shot design exercises in this module build
on the work completed in the preproduction module, helping students
refine shot lists and understanding the relationship between the
cinematographer and director. Upon completion of this module students
will have a detailed scene analysis, shot list, set diagram and
equipment list for scenes they will be shooting in the "Shooting on
Location" module. ...''
