'' George Brown¡¯s Logistics program is the ultimate in flexible, on-line and interactive logistics training. It targets the needs of business people who want to capture logistics opportunities. The program is suitable for business people who want to specialize in logistics, for those who already have logistics experience or for those who simply want to add this highly marketable knowledge to their resumé.
This program, which includes assigned reading, high-level discussion groups and team assignments, is delivered entirely over the internet, so scheduling is not an obstacle. Course topics include inventory management, transportation, warehousing, importing, exporting and the global supply chain. The Logistics Certificate provides a basic understanding of the logistics functions: what they are and how they relate to each other.
Earn the Logistics Certificate with six courses; add four more courses for the Supply Chain Management Certificate. Graduates of either program can earn a Logistics Management Diploma by taking additional general education and generic skills courses.
Career Opportunities
Industry Canada anticipates that 10,000 new logisticians will be needed each year for the next decade in Canada as companies recognize the importance of logistics and supply chain management. Jobs are available in private industry, non-profit organizations and government.

Admission Requirement/Prerequisite
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (with credits at or above general level) or equivalent or mature student status; access to a personal computer with internet access; and work experience in logistics or supply chain functions or general business experience.
