'' This program prepares professionals already working in the field for a career as a chef in Chinese restaurants. Through a strong industry partnership with the Ontario Chinese Restaurant Association, receive up-to-date programming and expert instruction. Learn about Chinese food preparation, kitchen supervision and methods for preparing various styles of Chinese cuisine. Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practice, learn both the theoretical and practical aspects to preparing regional specialties, such as Dim Sum, Cantonese, Szechuan and Chinese-Canadian dishes. Safe food handling practices and basic first aid are also included.

Admission Requirements/Prerequisites
This program is open to those who have a minimum of two years of industry experience or a minimum of one year of culinary training in a recognized academic institution. An interview is required prior to acceptance into the program.
