Tour guides can have a profound influence on a tourist¡¯s enjoyment and satisfaction. Our program has been developed with the input of industry professionals (including tour operators and the Canadian Tour Guide Association of Toronto), with occupational standards in mind. Learn tour guide fundamentals, skills, communications and service. You will learn how to describe tourist destinations properly and motivate visitors to explore and experience them. Courses focus on the history of the field and professional standards, researching a tour location, effective communication and presentation and customer service. The program includes a tour practicum.
