'' The Professional in Human Resources (or Senior Professional) Certificate Program provides a review of the body of knowledge for those in the field who wish to earn this prestigious designation awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM.) You must have two years of exempt-level experience to sit for the four-hour online exam. The UNLV Certificate is awarded to those who satisfactorily complete the Preparation and Review course. The national Certification is awarded after the test has been passed. Applicants sitting for the test who have completed university programs consistently have higher pass rates. The UNLV Preparation and Review class will be offered beginning in September.
