'' Through Design Management, we hope to educate a new generation who will be prepared to shape their careers around the increasing importance of design to a company¡¯s bottom line. In this program, you¡¯ll not only study general education courses, but also business, management and technology as well as substantial courses in studio design.

To be successful in this program you¡¯ll be both creative and analytical. You¡¯ll like to plan and strategize. You¡¯ll love design but don¡¯t need to make things. You¡¯ll enjoy teamwork and seek to contribute your ideas and skills in whatever way you can. You¡¯ll have an entrepreneurial streak and you¡¯ll want to succeed.

Graduates of the Design Management program will be eligible for entry-level positions such as production assistant in a design studio or in-house creative department, marketing assistant for a corporation or interior design firm, and assistant traffic manager for an advertising agency or magazine. Career possibilities for graduates of this program include positions such as marketing directors, business directors, project managers and brand strategists.
