The Art Institute of Portland is the only accredited college in Oregon to offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising. Our program is crafted to teach students the business and art of advertising: the history, the product, the techniques, and the impact of an industry that pervades our daily lives.

We¡¯re looking for motivated students who love to be heard - confident communicators and willing risk-takers. You¡¯ll need to be a serious student with a strong desire to blend your acquired knowledge of history, current events, culture, art and psychology.

You¡¯ll study psychology, the business of the industry, copywriting, and the value of public relations. You¡¯ll be challenged to think of new ways to communicate your message, to break through the constant buzz of everyday life.
