'' Earn your Associate¡¯s Degree in as little as 18 months. Mechanical Engineering Technology has a curriculum that focuses on Product and Process Design. For companies to survive they must constantly improve by adding new features on existing products or create new products. Design is emphasized utilizing the latest computer aided design software packages (AutoCAD, Inventor, and Solidworks). Understanding of materials is gained through laboratory experiences. Understanding of processes is acquired through hands-on experience. Experience with different manufacturing methods are obtained through the use of Robots, CNC lathes and millers, and pneumatic work bench. Associate program culminates with a design project of a new product.
