'' Students who successfully complete this program will receive the education and training to prepare them for the State Board Examination. Class time will be spent learning the technical skills and theory of hairdressing, hair cutting, permanent waving, hair coloring, manicuring, iron curling, and business. To assist the student to better understand the chemicals they work with, they will study hair structure and hair chemistry. After receiving a professional cosmetology license, it will enable them to perform any standard cosmetology service required in a beauty salon. Graduates will posses the skills to be employed as entry-level cosmetologists.
