Course Description:

'' The objective of this course is to prepare the student for employment as an entry level Medical Assistant. Students graduating from this program will have the necessary skills to obtain employment in the medical field working both administrative and clinical areas within the health care field. The program is 90 weeks in length for a total of 108-quarter credit hours. 92-quarter credit hours of theory and associated lab and 16-quarter credit hours of Applied General Education instruction in the areas described below. Each 10-week term is equal to 12-quarter credit hours. The entire program has a total of 108-quarter credit hours.
