Course Description:

'' Students who successfully complete this program will receive the education and training to prepare for the State Board Examination. Class time will be comprised of technical skills and theory of hair dressing, hair cutting, permanent waving, hair coloring, manicuring, pedicuring, curling, thermal curling, and business. Students will attain an understanding of the techniques and safety involved in working with chemicals, as outlined in the hair structure and chemistry segments. Graduates from the program will have the opportunity to test for and receive a Professional Cosmetology License. The academic and clinical preparation will qualify the graduates for entry level positions in the Cosmetology Industry.
