Course Description:

'' The objective of this course is to prepare the student for entry-level employment as a Pharmacy Office Assistant, performing administrative clerical duties or any similar functions in the health care field. This program consists of sixty (60) weeks, divided into six (6) terms of ten (10) weeks each, 72 quarter credit hours of theory and associated lab instruction, as well as six (6) quarter credit hours of general education, for a total of 78 quarter credit hours (1080 Clock Hours) in the areas described below. Each ten (10) week term is equal to thirteen (13) quarter credit hours (QCH). Please see Addendum E for a description of the General Education courses.
