'' The Master of Business Administration (MBA)* curriculum emphasizes the practical skills and concepts businesses demand from management professionals and blends management theory with real-world applications.
Students in this 16-course (48-semester-credit-hour) program must complete four management core, one quantitative and five program-specific courses, one of which is an integrative capstone course, which provide a broad business background invaluable to any manager.
For the remaining six courses, students can custom design a course of study that best suits their needs and interests. Students can choose their courses from a variety of disciplines, or they can concentrate in one of the following functional areas:

hospitality management

MBA students who choose to can focus their studies on the increasingly important and growing field of educational management. Students interested in educational management can focus their study on either management of public and private K-12 educational systems, or management of educational corporations and corporate training divisions.
