'' Companies applying Six Sigma to improve their manufacturing and service processes quickly recognise that many of the problems they face can be traced back directly to the initial design of the product. Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) addresses this need by showing how to apply the Six Sigma tools to the new product development process.

We believe strongly that each company needs to carefully integrate the Six Sigma tools into their Product Development Process (PDP). As a stepping stone to that objective we teach the techniques based around a generic roadmap based on IDOV (Identify, Design, Optimise and Validate). This provides a practical framework in which to learn and become familiar with the techniques to ensure correct company integration
