Course Description:
'' The aim of this Workshop is to give delegates a theoretical and practical experience in the implementation of a formal inspection and testing regime for electrical equipment (portable appliances). Delegates who successfully complete this Workshop will be awarded the C&G 2377-002 qualification. This qualification is fast becoming industry standard.
Who Should Attend?
Electrical and non-electrical personnel with a responsibility for the safe use of Electrical equipment (portable appliances).
What entry requirements are required?
No formal qualifications are required though background in basic electrical skills is an advantage.
Code of Practice for In-Service and testing of Electrical Equipment (COP)
Delegates are required to bring with them a copy of the IEE Code of Practice for the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (COP) - (ISBN0852 968442). Copies can be purchased from the IEE publications department. The COP is useful pre-reading and can be used in preparation for the On-line multiple choice C&G exam held at the end of each Workshop.
