Nobody likes death by slides on training courses - so we focus on interactive sessions, (covering practical auditing skills) whilst in the classroom. To allow us to do this we will provide before commencement of the course: an ISO 9000 on-line e-learning course. (Please be prepared to allow up to 8 hours to complete this task which can be completed at your own pace). a pre-course mini quiz that needs to be completed and returned before the course starts. This course uses accelerated learning to make the course as effective and enjoyable as possible. This means: lectures are reduced to a minimum. Interaction through exercises, role plays, discussions and delegate presentations is used throughout the style of the course for each topic is - firstly a short presentation by the Tutor, secondly delegates try out the topic with an exercise and thirdly the delegates do it for real on the Live Audit the Live Audit is the highlight of the course - where delegates get the chance to use their skills in the real world Subjects covered include: the value of ISO9000, ISO9001 & ISO9004 the different approach shown by ISO9001:2000 - including concepts such as continual improvement, the involvement of top management, customer satisfaction, process-based systems, measuring effectiveness and efficiency and an emphasis on less bureaucracy planning, conducting, reporting and surveillance on an external audit the interpersonal skills required by an auditor the pre-audit visit how to prepare effective checklists how to prepare a meaningful audit plan running effective opening and closing meetings the difference between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits dealing with classic problems on an audit becoming a certified Auditor or Lead Auditor under the IRCA scheme ...''
