Course Description:

'' Auditing is one of the fundamental activities for maintaining a Management System and assessing compliance with specified requirements. However with the process approach to Quality Management Systems outlined in ISO/TS 16949:2002, internal auditing becomes one of the key drivers of business improvement. It should not be an activity which is carried out simply to ensure compliance with procedures.

This two day course is designed to train Internal Auditors to play a full and active role in determining:

The adequacy of the Management System
Working compliance with the documented system
That the documented system is in compliance with ISO/TS 16949:2002
Demonstration of achievement of customer specifice requirements
The effectiveness of the documented system and efficiency of the operation
Opportunities for process and business improvement.

Staff within the automotive sector who will be involved in performing internal audits
Managers responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of an operating unit.
Auditees who wish to understand the audit process
