'' Companies are realising that they need to think seriously about their environmental issues not only for the good of society but for the benefits it can bring to the business. With accredited registration available and pressures increasing from the market, local communities, pressure groups and employees, companies need to understand ISO 14001 and what it could mean for them, before their competitors gain a market advantage.

This three day course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the key environmental initiatives, the requirements of ISO 14001 and enables them to design and develop a documented system for the proactive management of activities which impact upon environmental or associated safety issues to meet the requirements of the standard.

Delegates will be exposed to methods for the systematic review of the company’s operations to identify potential environmental or safety hazards, and the potential of those hazards to cause harm. This in turn leads to a review of the current controls and the selection of the most appropriate measures for capture within the Environmental Management System.
