'' This two-day course provides delegates with hands-on practice in determining business requirements for a SAN solution, identifying the relevant technical issues to be solved, developing options, and designing a viable, cost-effective SAN solution.

Objectives
Design reliable, scalable SAN fabrics that meet a specified set of business and technical requirements.
Given access to customer environments, documentation, and personnel, the learner will be able to assess user requirements for SAN reliability, availability, performance, security, and scalability, so that the assessment can be used as the basis for a storage networking solution
Given a set of storage networking requirements, the learner will be able to design a management infrastructure for Cisco storage networking platforms, so that the management infrastructure provides the appropriate levels of availability and security, and integrates with the customer’s in-house management systems
Given a set of storage networking requirements, the learner will be able to design a multiprotocol SAN fabric configuration using Cisco storage networking platforms, so that the configuration provides the required levels of high availability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Objectives (8pt Arial) normally one per course module
Given a set of storage networking requirements and access to an optical networking specialist, the learner will be able to design a remote SAN connectivity solution, so that the configuration provides the required levels of high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
