'' This two day instructor lead course provides base line technical information and training on IPv6. This course will help network engineers understand, configure and support Cisco devices running IOS software. The course covers the fundamentals of IPv6; routing protocols such as RIPng, OSPF, BGP and IS-IS; IPv6 transition mechanisms and other features.
Objectives
Describe and deploy IPv6 Access Control Lists
Discuss IPv6 support in DHCP and DNS
Describe, configure and implement IPv6 prefix delegation
Discuss, configure and implement:
Routing protocols (OSPFv3, MP-BGP, ISIS) in IPv6 networks
IPv6 integration methods such as manual tunnels, 6to4 and ISATAP
Discuss basic multicasting concept in IPv6 environment
Discuss Mobile IP and how Mobile IPv6 differs from Mobile IPv4
Identify the IPv6 multihoming issue
Discuss troubleshooting techniques for an IPv6 environment
Identify various IPv6 related services supported in the Cisco product line
Compare and contrast various iPv6 deployment strategies in a service provider environment
Compare and contrast various IPv6 deployment strategies in an enterprise environment
Pre-Requisites
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of IPv6
Routing protocols
Intermediate knowledge of \ip
Strongly recommended to have attended IPVSF

This course will be of benefit to service providers and network administrators planning and preparing for IPv6 deployment. The course is also strongly recommended to candidates pursuing CCIE Routing & Switching certification
