The course will provide PC "super users" or new support professionals with the fastest route to A+ Certification. Full practical sessions will prepare students for the two A+ Certification exams. Objectives

Partition and format hard disk drives
Install and configure Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT Workstation, Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional

Support and troubleshoot operating systems and applications
Pre-Requisites
Delegates are required to meet the following prerequisites:
Have experience with supporting users
Have an understanding of DOS file conventions and directory structures
Able to install and configure Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11 or Windows 95
Competent user of DOS, Windows File Manager or Explorer
Understand the DOS start-up flies ¨C Config.sys and Autoexec.bat
To be safety conscious and will adhere to all directions and instructions concerned with working with live equipment
