'' The aim of this instructor-led course is to present a technical overview of the use of Internet Protocol (IP) in the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS).

In addition to reviewing the evolution of the Internet and basics of IPv4, the course describes the techniques used in transmitting Voice over IP (VoIP).

The course also provides an overview of the UMTS architecture and services. It culminates in an in-depth description of MobileIP and IPv6.
