'' The objective of this instructor-led course is to provide the student with an overview of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). The course offers an introduction to the architecture of WAP, how WAP may best be used for e-commerce and other mobile applications, and how the WAP developer may create effective WAP applications.

There are a number of critical aspects to the successful use of WAP. A good WAP site should enhance the reputation (and the business) of any corporation, but a badly conceived or a badly implemented WAP site will most likely have a negative impact. Pointers to the successful use of WAP will be introduced and discussed.
