'' This course is particularly suitable for anyone with responsibilities under the Fire Safety Order 2005, either as the designated ˇ°responsibleˇ± or ˇ°competentˇ± person.
This is a necessary addition to the knowledge base of any fire risk assessor and those who are actively working on access improvements to their facilities and services. Before attending this course, attendees should ideally understand the basic principles of safe routes of escape.
The day provides an opportunity for hands on exploration of the complexities that may arise for disabled people and anyone with additional needs, and how risk can be reduced to an acceptable level. You will also review common misconceptions and misunderstandings about egress arrangements.
