Course Description:

'' Incorporating the acting techniques/theories of: Stanislavsky, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekhov, and Melissa Bruder, the students explore their acting abilities. While learning these different acting techniques they are also taken through a series of Edith Skinner¡¯s vocal technique exercises to strengthen their speaking voice and projection capabilities. Their craft will be developed through a series of improvisation exercises, monologues, and scene study. This class is taught in a non-judgmental environment where the students are free to be risk-takers and learn about their skills through positive critiques and self-observations.
