'' The course is for special education needs assistants, learning support assistants and teaching assistants who are employed in schools or who have worked on a voluntary basis for a minimum of one year in a classroom environment.
Progression
This course provides a progression route for candidates who have completed an appropriate Level 2 qualification that consolidates and enhances their knowledge and skills in working effectively with children and young people under the age of 16, in education settings, to support their learning, achievement and inclusion.
Course Content
Students will complete written assignments for each unit and collect evidence from their placement setting to form an extensive portfolio.
